Kongsberg Maritime to supply equipment for Bibby Marine’s eCSOV
Kongsberg Maritime has received a contract to supply an integrated equipment package for UK-based Bibby Marine’s new eCSOV, which is claimed to be the world’s “first” full-electric offshore vessel.
The anticipated delivery date for the eCSOV is set for 2027.

The comprehensive package from Kongsberg Maritime will include full-electric rim-drive propulsion, azimuth and tunnel thrusters, forming the foundation of the vessel’s advanced systems.
The contract will also cover automation, electrical control, dynamic positioning, and thruster control systems.
