Sailing since summer 2023, the ship, built in 1993, recently left Marseille after a New Year’s Eve cruise. Upgrades will include emission-reduction technology, a shore power system, and redesigned cabins and public areas.
Managed by Hamburg-based BSM Cruise Services, the 1,100-passenger vessel was originally built as “Maasdam” for Holland-America Line and later renamed “Aegean Myth” during its time with Seajets.
