Daimler Truck Unveils Vision for AI-Enhanced Defense Vehicles

BERLIN — On March 28, daimler Truck Holding revealed an exciting collaboration with ARX Robotics aimed at enhancing military vehicle technology through AI and robotics.

This partnership will primarily target the Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks division’s Unimog and Zetros models.

The first step involves outfitting prototypes of the Zetros with advanced digital systems. Future plans include integrating these technologies into Unimog vehicles and retrofitting older models in their fleet.

the collaboration will see these vehicles fitted with cutting-edge sensors, cameras, and interaction systems managed by the innovative ARX core platform.
