Noatum Maritime takes delivery of its first LNG-powered PCTC
Noatum Maritime has expanded its Ro-Ro capabilities with the delivery of its first LNG-powered Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC) vessel, UGR Al Samha, on 24 March.
As explained, this vessel, introduced through the company’s joint venture with Erkport, United Global Ro-Ro, represents a key step in Noatum Maritime’s strategy to transition its fleet to alternative fuels. With 12 decks spanning 59,331 sqm and a capacity of over 7,000 car equivalent units (CEU), UGR Al Samha is a flagship vessel for Noatum Maritime’s Ro-Ro expansion.
The vessel will be deployed primarily on routes connecting the Middle East, Asia, and the Mediterranean.
