PSA Singapore reaches 10 million TEU mark at Tuas Port

PSA Singapore has reached a significant milestone, handling 10 million TEUs at Tuas Port—one of the world’s largest fully automated container terminals—since operations commenced in September 2022.

This achievement underscores Tuas Port’s pivotal role in Singapore’s supply chain and logistics sector.

As a key hub in the global maritime network, Tuas Port is designed to accommodate the increasing demands of international trade while solidifying Singapore’s position as a leading transshipment hub.

Moreover, this milestone reflects the port’s state-of-the-art technology, advanced infrastructure, and operational efficiency, made possible through the collaboration of PSA’s customers, partners, and workforce.

Ong Kim Pong, Group CEO of PSA International, commented: “Tuas Port is a vital node in PSA’s expansive global network and serves as the focal point of a well-integrated supply chain and logistics ecosystem in Singapore. With its unparalleled scale, capacity and advanced capabilities, the mega port is well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of the global supply chain industry.”

Since its launch with three berths, Tuas Port has expanded to 11 operational berths. PSA remains committed to integrating sustainable and smart technologies across its port operations, ensuring that Tuas Port continues to set industry benchmarks for efficiency, service excellence, and environmental sustainability.
