Apart from his indisputable talents on the NBA basketball courts, Greek superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has proven time and again that his exploits extend beyond the sport he loves into the business world. In his latest venture, the Greek Freak, invested in an AI-powered service managing video clips for sports organizations.

Besides Giannis, investors in the sports storytelling platform called ScorePlay, include heavy hitters like “The Twenty Minute VC” founder Harry Stebbings, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian’s VC firm Seven Seven Six, former Formula 1 champion Nico Rosberg, and soccer star and former U.S. Women’s National Team captain Alex Morgan.

In April 2024, Antetokounmpo acquired the Village Cinema Rentis, a large shopping center complex located in the homonymous suburb in the region of Attica, in partnership with PREMIA Properties.

PREMIA Properties released a statement informing the public the deal was reached after Renti to Go Single-Member S.A. acquired 100% of the shares of Trivillage Developments Greece Single-Member S.A. for a total price of €14.1 million.
