These advanced vessels will be essential in achieving our environmental goals while enhancing service reliability as we grow our owned fleet.”
ONE Sparkle incorporates environmental features, including:
- Methanol and ammonia-ready fuel systems for future alternative fuel conversion;
- An optimized hull design for enhanced energy efficiency;
- Next-generation energy-saving technologies;
- Smart technology for improved vessel performance; and
- Shore power connection capabilities for zero-emission operations at port
Moreover, built by Hyundai Heavy Industries in Ulsan, South Korea, ONE Sparkle boasts a capacity of 13,800 TEUs. The vessel is classed by ABS, flagged under Singapore, and managed by OneSea Solutions, a joint venture between ONE and Seaspan Corporation.
