The New Jersey (USA)-headquartered shipowner Safesea Group with a social media post on LinkedIn announced the company’s further fleet growth with the purchase of the Safesea Janaki.

The newly acquired 2008-built container vessel has a carrying capacity of 1100 TEUs.

Safesea Group revealed that the Safesea Janaki has been time-chartered to Unifeeder, Denmark (part of the UAE based DP World), and that she will operate between the USA, South America, and Caribbean ports.

Bravo Ship Management will be the technical manager for this vessel, as the shipowner mentions.
