Container News

Geodis, a global transport and logistics provider, has announced two significant leadership appointments within its management team.

Eric Martin-Neuville has been named Executive Vice-President for Asia-Pacific & Middle East, while Henri Le Gouis has been appointed Executive Vice-President for Global Freight Forwarding.

Both will continue to serve as members of the Geodis Group’s Management Board, chaired by Marie-Christine Lombard, Chief Executive Officer of the company.

Eric Martin-Neuville brings a wealth of experience, having started his career at Calberson International in France, where he held various business development roles. In 1995, he moved to Asia and took on several leadership positions. Notably, in 2007, he oversaw the merger between TNT Freight Management and GEODIS. Returning to Europe in 2009, he led Freight Forwarding for Southern Europe before rising to Chief Operating Officer for the Global Freight Forwarding Line of Business in 2013 and becoming Executive Vice President in 2018.

Furthermore, Henri Le Gouis began his professional journey as a financial auditor with Arthur Andersen in 1991 before joining the Bolloré Group in 1994 as a financial controller. He transitioned to SDV in 2002 as financial director for Western Europe and later became CFO of Bolloré Logistics in 2005.

His progression continued as he assumed roles such as managing director for the Paris/Nord/Normandie region in 2006, CEO of Western Europe in 2011, and ultimately CEO of Europe in 2015. Henri Le Gouis is an alumnus of the prestigious Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris and Sciences Po Paris.
