APM Terminals announced the completion of the last phase of its Medport Tangier
expansion project, which added 2 million TEU capacity, solidifying its position as one of the most highly advanced container terminals in the world.
This is a major milestone as the facility now boasts a 5.2 million TEU annual capacity with a 2 km long berth. The development comes in time to support the new collaboration between Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd which will be launched in February 2025.
