(MASSENA, N.Y.) — A Canadian-flagged bulk carrier that ran aground in the St. Lawrence River three weeks ago was refloated Monday after lightering and assistance from three tugboats.

The 738-foot Tim S. Dool, loaded with Canadian wheat and en route from Port Weller, Ontario, to Quebec, grounded on Nov. 23 outside the navigation channel on the U.S. side of the river near Massena, N.Y.
