(MORRISBURG, Ontario) — A Canada-flagged bulk carrier ran aground Saturday on the U.S. side of the St. Lawrence River near Morrisburg, Ontario, with operations continuing Tuesday to free the ship.

The 738-foot Tim S. Dool, carrying Canadian wheat from Port Weller to Quebec, grounded outside the navigation channel at about 12:30 p.m. No injuries or pollution were reported, and the ship is not taking on water.

The bulker, owned by the Algoma Central Corp., has been in service
